Qalbii Ltd (Qalbii, we, us, or our) operates the Qalbii mobile application and website. We are committed to transparency and to upholding the Islamic principle of amanah (trust) in all our data practices.

Information you provide directly and information collected automatically are limited to what is needed for the service.

Given the nature of our service, we process data relating to religious beliefs and ethnic origin. We process this data only with your explicit consent and solely to provide our matrimonial service.

• Account details: name, email address, date of birth, and gender.
• Profile information: biography, photos, religious practice details, education, and profession.
• Compatibility questionnaire responses and messages sent through the platform.
• Identity verification documents, processed securely and not stored beyond verification where the stated verification flow applies.
• Payment information processed by our payment provider; Qalbii does not store card details.
• Device information, usage data, IP address, approximate city-level location, crash reports, and performance data. Precise GPS is not collected without consent.

We use your data only for stated purposes that serve you. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.

• Providing our service: creating your profile, generating compatibility matches, and facilitating communication between members.
• Safety and verification: verifying identities, detecting fraudulent accounts, and enforcing community guidelines.
• Improving the platform: analysing anonymised usage patterns to improve matching and user experience.
• Communication: sending service notifications, match alerts, and promotional updates only where the required consent applies.
• Legal obligations: complying with applicable laws and responding to lawful requests from authorities.

We share your data only when necessary and only with parties bound by appropriate data protection obligations.

We do not share your data with advertisers, sell your data, or permit third parties to use it for their own marketing purposes.

• Other members: profile information is visible as part of the service, subject to product privacy controls.
• Service providers: hosting, payment, analytics, moderation, and identity verification providers processing data on our behalf under contract.
• Legal requirements: law enforcement or regulatory bodies where required by law, court order, or protection of user safety.

• Anonymised data: aggregates that cannot identify you may be retained for analytical purposes.
