Safety and standards
Nobody sees you until a person has checked.
You upload a government ID and your photos. Someone on our team compares them and approves or declines each one. Until then your profile is not shown and you cannot be found. Everyone you meet has been through the same check.
What every member agrees to
Our standards.
- Sincere intention toward marriage, and honesty when that changes.
- One account, your own photos, the name on your ID.
- No harassment and no pressure. When someone says no, that is the end of it.
- Never ask a member for money, gifts or financial details.
- No explicit content, in photos or in messages.
- Nothing about another member leaves Qalbii without their consent.
Breaking them leads to a warning or removal, depending on what happened. Reports are confidential: the person reported is never told who reported them.
In your hands
Three tools, always one tap away.
- Block
- Removes them from your world in both directions and closes the conversation. They are not told. Use it when someone has made you uncomfortable.
- Report
- Sends the person and their messages to our trust and safety team. Every report is read. Outcomes run from a warning to a permanent ban.
- Unmatch
- Ends a conversation that is simply not right, with no formal action. Neither of you appears to the other again.
You never owe anyone an explanation for using any of them. If something feels wrong, act.
The pace
Daily limits, not endless swiping.
Free has a daily allowance of likes, profile views and new conversations, and Gold has a daily allowance of likes. Paid plans raise the allowance, and no plan buys a better place in anyone’s feed — the order you see is the same whatever you pay.
Your data
Treated as an amanah.
- Processed under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- No advertising trackers. No third-party profiling.
- Delete your account, and what it holds, from your settings at any time.
If something is wrong right now
In immediate danger in the UK, call 999. For anything on Qalbii, report the member from their profile or the conversation, then contact support so a person can follow up with you.
